01.
Think about desired kinds of photos
Do you want just traditional senior photos? Or a session that also highlights a seniors passions (dance, sports, music, etc.)? Do you want them taken outside? At their favorite location around town? On the soccer field? Will they include family pets?
02.
Begin to research photographers
Based on your photo preferences, begin to research photographers that could fulfill these needs. Look at the style of their work and if you would like your photos to look like that. What are their time and price offerings? Even though I myself offer photos, if you don't like my style, don't book me! And if you do... well, how about you go to that contact tab!
03.
Book your photographer EARLY
June, July and August are great times for senior photoshoots in Montana. Book with your photographer as early as January - March for the best deals and available spots.

Schedule a call with your photographer
If your photographer does not already offer this (I offer a free info call with all of my clients!), ask to meet with them to discuss your vision for the photoshoot and go over any details such as location(s) and outfit(s). The number of locations and outfit changes is based off of the price package.
05.
Pick out your outfit(s)
Outfits are so important to get the best senior photos! Make sure the senior wears something that they feel comfortable and confident in. Don't force them to wear anything that doesn't represent who they are. Their senior photos are a representation of them!
06.
Have a blast at your session!
Your session is celebrating YOU and should be a fun, enjoyable time! I like to play music, crack jokes, and get to know who you are.
